Pre-wedding shoots are always a lot of fun, but this one was a bit special because we did it in downtown Chicago. I’d been excited about this prospect since we knew we would be photographing Dana and Matt’s wedding in Illinois. Chicago is one of our favourite cities – so much to see and do and fascinating architecture. We wanted to incorporate key elements of the city whilst keeping the photographs fresh and original for Dana and Matt.
It was a dull and drizzly day but that didn’t matter. Dana and Matt are obviously in love and their love lights up the photographs. Together with some of our trademark lighting to bring the pictures to life.
